On a recent trip to South Dakota, Matt Reiling and Emily Babin visited the Badlands National Park, Mitchell Corn Palace, Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse National Monuments, and the beautiful Black Hills. Before camping alongside a herd of bison in the Badlands, Matt and Emily posed for an Enterprise photo taken by a couple from Colorado Springs, Co. In a random case of “small world,” when the Colorado couple discovered that Matt and Emily were from Coon Rapids, they happily declared that they visit Coon Rapids every year. Their friends, Harry and Jane Siegler, are the reason for their visit. Matt and Emily went on to hike the Centennial Trail in the Black Hills and wilderness camp, before renting a rustic cabin from Laura Lake’s cousin in Silver City, SD.
